An Outdoor-based activity was done amongst the students of grade 4 on 24th of December, with the sole purpose of promoting the usage and the production of local based goods through a practical understanding of the process and self-learning as well.
The Project was conducted and implemented with the objective of teaching students about the diverse subjects together with other basic subjects including Maths, Science,Social and Nepali Language as well. Aiming to instill appreciation in the students for goods produced at the local level, the project also focused on fostering a connection between the students and their own heritage and different cultural aspects related to them.
The project was conducted under the supervision of the teachers who implied practical learning through different experiments to actively involve the students in the process of producing, applying the local concepts in their daily activities and in the real world as well.
Upon completion of the Project, the students as well as the teachers were interviewed about their experiences and, Drishti Shrestha, the leader teacher of the junior block shared her thoughts on the project stating, ‘’The Project was a very informative one and a successful one on top of that.’’
